Hello! My name is Molly Balint.
This is my blogging home where I write about life alongside my husband, raising three little girls in a fixer-upper farmhouse in rural Maryland. You never know what you might find--a good recipe, a glimpse at my creative life--whether it be knitting, sewing, pottery or dyeing pasta in technicolor hues, a request for help lowering my grocery bills, or a lesson learned as I strive each day to be a better mother, wife, person.
I am most often inspired by the things I interact with every day--a clothesline swaying with clean laundry, a wooden bowl of apples sitting on my table, the hum of busy children, the birds at my feeder, the path to the stream.
But no matter what the topic I may be writing about, I hope you'll find a little inspiration, camaraderie and encouragement as I share honest bits of my every day life and capture it here, as a family field guide, of sorts.
I am also a pro-blogger for babycenter.com as part of their MOMformation team. I write two regular features each week--Get Crafty, which highlights the creative side of motherhood, and A Bushel and A Peck, a weekly journal of lessons learned while parenting. You can also find me as a new featured contributor on TwitterMoms, writing a short weekly piece about "A Day in the Life of a Mom."
My recipes are also popping up here and there in issues of Wondertime Magazine.
